Update 1/4/2017: ตอนนี้ CAS ได้ออกประกาศว่าจะไม่รับ Exam C ของ SOA อีกหนังจากปี 2017 เริ่มต้นตั้งแต่ 2018 เป็นต้นไป CAS จะมี 2 ข้อสอบใหม่ (Modern Actuarial Statistic I & II) MAS I จะมาแทม Exam S (อีกแล้ว) และ MAS II จะมาแทน Exam C/4
ใครที่ยังไม่ได้สอบ แล้วยังไม่มีงาน ก็รีบสอบ C ก่อนก็น่าจะดีนะครับ จะได้ Credit ทั้งสองทาง

    Which area of P&C are you working in krub? I'm working in reserving in North America also. This is my first job so I'm interested to see how you think about other aspects of P&C field.

      I'm working in an underwriting support role krub. The role is in Commercial Insurance. This is my first role too. When I interned, I was also in underwriting support, but mostly support national insurance accounts. But this time, I am supporting affinity programs, umbrella and excess policies.
      In my role, I deal with both ratemaking and reserving. Ratemaking when have to deals with new programs, or supporting pricing models that underwriters use. Reserving when having to do reserve analysis to reconcile with reserving group or when doing captive reviews krub.
